<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>River and loch waterbodies used for the abstraction of drinking water were identified as drinking water protection areas (DWPAs) under the Water Framework Directive (related datasets: Drinking Water Protected Areas - Rivers and Drinking Water Protected Areas - Lochs). This dataset contains the catchment area for small loch and small river waterbodies and the intercatchment area for baseline loch and river waterbodies. There are one or two exceptions where a small waterbody lies downstream of a baseline waterbody, in which case the intercatchment has been used.
