The flood risk information applies to an area, not a specific property
Why a 50-metre radius?
Flooding in your local area is important to know about as you may be
affected by flooding to roads, buildings, and services you use as well as
to your own home. We use a 50 metre search buffer to show you if you
live near to an area at risk of flooding. You can look at the maps to see
what is at flood risk and consider how this would affect your preparation
and planning on what to do in the event of a flood.
Can I get the flood risk for a specific address?
No. This service does not show the flood risk for specific addresses and
must not be understood in this way. It is not possible to incorporate this
level of detail into our strategic level maps, which are produced nationally
and intended to indicate where the land may flood and where more
detailed flood risk assessments may be appropriate.
