An offshore multivariate dataset has been used as the basis for the inclusion of waves in North East Scotland, Orkney and Outer Hebrides. The climate change scenario has been defined by relative sea level rise projections from either UK Climate Projections 2009 (UKCP09) high emissions or UK Climate Projections 2018 (UKCP18) RCP8.5 scenarios. Uncertainty associated with coastal outputs is tracked in two ways; confidence intervals in metres associated with each design sea level data point and an overarching qualitative assessment of mapped outputs determined based on the accuracy of the underlying datasets such as DTM source, design sea level source and suitability of modelling approach to specific coastal reaches.
